Friends Social Welfare Organisation beat Swadhinata Krira Chakra by 2-0 goals in a match of the Bengal Group Senior Division Football League at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur in the city on Wednesday.
Monu scored the two goals in the 7th and 64th minutes of the match for the winners.
The day’s other match between Bangladesh Boys Club and Dhaka Wanderers Club ended in goalless draw at the same venue.
