Orientation program for the first year (Hons) students of the Faculty of the Business Studies of the University of Dhaka (DU) under 2013-2014 academic session held on Tuesday at the Teachers-Students Centre (TSC) of the university.
DU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Sidduqe attended the program as chief guest. Among others, Prof Dr Shibli Rubayat-Ul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies spoke on the occasion.
Director, Students Counseling and Guidance Office Prof Shahin Islam presided over the function.
Chairpersons of various departments under the Faculty, professors, students, advisors, director of TSC and fresh students were present on the occasion.
DU Vice-chancellor welcomed the new students and urged them to work sincerely for building a developed country and brighter future.
He asked students to go ahead overcoming all obstacles of the society.
