The certificate awarding ceremony of two certificate courses on “Supply Chain Management” and “Freight Forwarding” was held recently at the University Auditorium of Pallabi area in the capital, organized by Faculty of Shipping Administration, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Maritime University (BSMRMU), Bangladesh.
BSMRMU Vice Chancellor Rear Admiral ASM Abdul Baten graced the ceremony as chief guest. Dean of the faculty, Commodore M Ziauddin Alamgir delivered the welcome address.
The chief guest awarded the certificates among the 30 students of both certificate courses.
Students, faculty members and other relevant resource personnel attended the ceremony.
The chief guest expressed his hope that, students completing these certificate courses will develop and emerge themselves as maritime and shipping professionals, and they will serve the nation with their expertise in developing the existing shipping sector of the country.
