A pro-liberation organisation of journalists named Freedom Fighters’ Wards Journalist Forum was formed at a meeting at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in the city with Md Sazzad Hossain, Senior Reporter of BSS in the chair on Wednesday.
A 13-member convening committee with Zihadur Rahman Zihad (BTV), Shakhawat Hossain (Ekushey TV) and Mohiuddin Kader have been selected Convenor, Coordinator and Member Secretary of the newly-formed organisation respectively .
Other office -bearers of the committee are: Md Sazzad Hossain (BSS), Sumi Khan (Surja Barta) , Sabika Rani ( The Ittefaq) ), Amoresh Roy ( The Daily Samakal), Zarna Moni (Bhorer Kagaj) , Mizan Chowdhury (The Daily Jugantor), Mizanur Rahman ( The Alokito Bangladesh ), Miraz Miju (Ekushey Television ) , Zilani Milton and Imran Ahmed (breakingnewsbd.com).
