At the end of various political and diplomatic equations, several companies have been vaccinated in the country. The vaccine has reached the upazila level health complex. But online sufferers are less likely to apply for the vaccine. Internet network is not good in the village; everyone has not a smart phone.
As a result, many are unable to register for the vaccine due to the complicated registration process. Again, 50-150 tk is being taken per person to register in a commercial shop.
Some youths are registering free corona vaccine in different villages of the upazila on the initiative of West Amirabad Royal’s Club, a social organization based in Lohagara, Chittagong, thinking of the victims.
Over the past few weeks, the members of the Royals Club have taken such an exceptional initiative in collaboration with Joy Bangla Samaj Seva Parishad and West Amirabad Adarsh Library.
The 15 members of the Royals Club and Adarsh Library are working day and night in three teams and are registering for free corona ticker in different parts of the upazila. At the same time, the vaccine card is being printed and delivered to the house for free.
Shahadat Hossain Swadhin, a student at the South Asian University in Delhi, who coordinates the vaccination registration program, said that although corona vaccines are readily available, there is reluctance among people to get vaccinated due to the complexity of vaccination registration. Most people do not know how to register.
