Barishal district administration has launched free oxygen service for corona patients. Deputy Commissioner Barisal Jasim Uddin Haider inaugurated the oxygen service at the premises of Barishal Circuit House on Sunday. Assistant Commissioner Barisal Md. Nazmul Huda, Assistant Commissioner Subrata Biswas Das, General Secretary of Shaheed Abdur Rob Serniabat Press Club Kazi Miraj Mahmud, Joint Convener of Metropolitan Juba League Mahmudul Haque Khan Mamun, President of Barishal Rotary Club Hasnain Chowdary, also were present prothom Sakal’s editor and publisher Kazi Al Mamun and many others were present.
The service has been introduced for corona patients at Barishal Sadar Hospital as well as those who are unable to seek treatment at the hospital due to corona infection. Oxygen will be delivered to the homes of free Corona patients as soon as they call. If you call on your mobile for oxygen or on our official Facebook page, the media cell informs the Barishal district administration that the members will go home with the oxygen cylinder. The trained team will not finish the task just by delivering the oxygen cylinder. They will also explain how to apply and use oxygen. Initially get oxygen support. Members of Rotary Club Bangladesh and Khulna Oxygen Bank will co-operate with this initiative of the district administration. Initially this service will be operated with 50 oxygen cylinders. Besides, it has been confirmed that 22 types of medicines will be given to the poor and helpless people as per the advice of the doctor.
