A free health service program has been organized to provide medical care to the needy, poor and low-income people in Kapasia upazila of Gazipur under the auspices of Basa NGO Samridhi program, health and nutrition, and education activities and with the funding of Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation.
Prescriptions and medicines have been distributed among mothers and children and other general patients in the free health camp by specialist doctors.
The event was held at noon on Thursday at the Prabins Social Center in Gonsaigaon village in Durgapur union of the Kapasia upazila.
Assistant General Manager of Basa NGO Mohammad Zakir Hossain, RM Helal Uddin of Basa NGO, SDO Mostafa, Dr Tarek Hossain, Upazila Education Supervisor Akram Hossain Masum, EDO Saidur Rahman and Health Officer Gopinath, Sabuj were present.
