Four killed in road crashes

At least four more persons were killed in separate road crashes in the country on Sunday.
In Naogaon, two people were killed in separate road accidents there. The accident took place at Manda and Mahadebpur upazila’s of the district.
The deceased were identified as Amzad Hossain, 60, son of Nepal Mandal of Uttagram village, and Zakirul Islam, (35), son of Shamsuddin of Bauri Billy

village under Tana upazila of Rajshahi.
Mahadewabpur Office-in Charge (OC) Mizanur Rahman confirmed the news to media.
In Sunamganj, Munni Akhter (21), a college girl was killed in a road accident at the district’s Narayanpur. Another person was injured in this incident.
The accident took place on Sunamganj-Derai Road around 2:30 in the afternoon.When a bus rammed auto-rickshaw, Munni died on the spot. Shei was a third year student at Sunamganj Government Women’s College. She is the daughter of Shafiq Mia from Patharia village of South Sunamganj upazila.
In Madaripur , a child named Sumona, 6, was killed when a microbus rammed her in the grocery store at Karnaphara of Dasar thana in Kalkini upazila beside Dhaka-Barisal highway. Six more people were injured in the incident.
After the accident, the agitated people blocked the highway for about thirty minutes.
Dasar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Emdadul Haq confirmed the accident.
