Four people were killed as a bus hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Manoharganj upazila of Cumilla district on Saturday morning.
Identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Locals said a bus of ‘Himachal Paribahan’ rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Natherpetua Puran Bazar area around 10:30am, leaving three passengers of the latter vehicle dead on the spot and one injured.
Later, the injured died on the way to hospital.Natherpatua Police Outpost in-charge (sub-inspector) Md Zafar Iqbal told the media that the bus and the auto-rickshaw were seized but the bus driver managed to flee.
