Four electrocuted in dists

A pregnant housewife died from electrocution at Chaluahati village in onirampur upazila of Jashore district on Friday .
The deceased was identified as Nasima Bagum 19 daughter of Salam Dafader of the Upazila.
Police said Nasima Bagum was electrocuted as she came in contact with live wire when tried to switch on a fan at her house around 4:45am.
Barishal Correspondent says: A Dubai expatriate youth during visiting house of his maternal aunt died of electrocution on Friday.
Golam Sarwar, officer in charge of Gournadi police station, said the victim was identified as Shahiduzzaman Titu, son of Bazlul Huq Sardar, from Kasemabad village of Gournadi.
Wahiduzzaman Mithu, elder brother of the victim, said Titu went to visit his maternal aunt Masuda Begum at Kalihata village under Wazirpur upazila of Barishal on Friday morning.
There when he tried to operate a water lifting pump became injured after electrocuted and immediately brought to Gournadi upazila health complex where attending doctor declared him as dead at noon.
A case of unnatural death was lodged with Gournadi police station and the dead body handed over to family members, the police sources said.
She was rushed to Jashore general Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
Bagerhat Correspondent adds: Two people died after being electrocuted while felling a tree at Betaga village in Fakirhat upazila on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as Rahmat Ullah, 62, son of Karim Uddin, and Subodh Das, 50, son of Dijabar Das of the village.
Officer-in-charge of Fakirhat Police Station Abu Jahid Sheikh said the duo was cutting a betel nut tree.
It fell on a live electric wire and got electrified and Rahmat and Subodh got electrocuted, killing them on the spot.
