Members of RAB (Rapid Action Battalion) and APBN (Armed Police Battalion) have rescued four students who were abducted at Ramu in Cox’s Bazar. Seven Rohingyas, members of the abduction ring, were detained at the time.
RAB-15 Commander Lieutenant Colonel Khairul Islam confirmed the matter on Saturday morning, however, he said the details will be given in a press briefing.
Khairul Islam said a student named Mohammad Kaiser was rescued from Shalban Hill in Nayapara of Teknaf around 5 pm on Friday.
Later, Jahidul Islam Mamun and Mizanur Rahman were rescued from the same area. Besides, another student Mizanur Rahman was rescued on the same night, RAB-15 Commander Lieutenant Colonel Khairul Islam added.
