Founding Chairman of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT) and valiant freedom fighter, Imamul Kabir Shanto died of coronavirus(COVID-19) at the Combined Military Hospital in the city on Saturday morning. He was 66.
He established Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology, Sundarbans Courier Services (Pvt) Ltd and Shanto-Mariam Foundation.
Shanto-Mariam Foundation family expressed profound shock at the death of Imamul Kabir Shanto.
The foundation prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
