City Mayor AJM Nasiruddin called upon the diploma engineers to extend good results of Independence to every doorsteps across the country.
He said in development activities of the country, diploma engineers had positive role.
City Mayor disclosed it while addressing the 46th founding anniversary of the Institution of Diploma Engineers, Bangladesh and Public Engineering Day on Thursday at IDEB Bhaban in city as chief guest. The chief guest in his brief deliberations emphasised the role of diploma engineer in overall development activities of the country and urged them to devote themselves in country’s uplift with transparency and accountablity.
City Mayor also reiterated his assurance to the demands of the diploma engineers . President of the IDEB Abu Baset presided the function. Among others, vice president of central committee of IDEB AKM Abdul Motaleb, vice president Jafar Ahmed sadeque, CCC councilor Md.Hossain Hiron, women councilor Abida Javed Azad, general secreatary Jasimuddin spoke on theoccasion.
A colourful rally was brought out from the IDEB office premises which paraded the city street upto Tigerpass, sources said.
