In his speech Deputy Speaker said, ‘The present government is doing its best to make all children educated. Now an environment has been created for seminars, discussions and dialogues due to the good intentions of the government. All we need is public awareness. To meet this goal, all government, private and aid organizations will have to work with sincerity.’
He added, “Student politics in the country is being polluted because of the ill intention of politicians to spread their influence in educational institutions. This polluted student politics is being reflected on the new generation. This is reducing their accountability to the society. This bad culture should be stopped. I ask all rich and moneyed men to come forward to help the street children within their means.’
Mir Shawkat Ali Badshah said, “We have to be careful about the development of street children, freedom fighters, disabled and underprivileged children. We have to include them in the main stream of development. In this respect, instead of creating laws, we have to give more importance to realizing these regulations.”
In the key note paper, five demands were raised. It was discussed there that ensuring the safeguard and development of the street children, a specific CSR guideline and regulations must be established. A monitoring system should be there to ensure that these regulations are being properly implemented. The corporate houses should ensure that money is being allocated properly in all sectors. Foremost, in order to run the CPR workshop, the underprivileged children have to be given maximum importance.
