Former VNSC teacher Monira Haque dies

Monira Haque, former Assistant Headmistress of Viqarunnisa Noon School and College (VNSC) breathed her last on Thursday afternoon at her residence in New Eskaton in the city. Munira Haque is the daughter of Khan Bahadur S.A.Y.B. Murshedy, former Labor Commissioner to the Government of East Pakistan, and wife of Chowdhury AKM Aminul Haque, former secretary and Adviser to the first caretaker government of Bangladesh. She is the mother-in-law of Prof. Dr. Major Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah, BNCCO, Vice-Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR).
Monira Haque left behind numerous admirers, including two daughters. Organizations of teachers, officials and employees of BRUR including its Pro-Vice Chancellor Dr Sarifa Salowa Dina and Treasurer Dr Md. Hasibur Rashid mourn her death and expressed deep condolence to the bereaved family members.
