Former President of Bangladesh Hindu-Bouddha-Christian Oikya Parishad (BHBCOP) and former envoy Advocate Siril Sikder died of brain haemorrhage at his own residence in the city’s Farmgate on Sunday night. He was 77.
He left behind wife, one son, three daughters and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his death.
BHBCOP President Major Gen (Retd) CR Dutta, State Minister for Social Welfare Advocate Promod Mankin, MP expressed deep condolence on his death and extended sympathy to the bereaved family members. They also prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
