A foreign sailor was killed by hot water splashed from a cracked engine pipe of a ship docked at Chittagong Port’s outer anchorage, port sources said.
His name was ‘Basil Kairil’ from Ukraine on Chittagong Medical College Hospital’s register.
The incident occurred at MV Camilla’s engine room around 3pm on Wednesday.
