Football coach Saintfiet confirms his return on Aug 17

Bangladesh national football team’s head coach Tom Saintfiet confirmed his return to Dhaka on August 17.
Saintfiet confirmed this to the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) in an e-mail massage on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old Belgian left Dhaka for home on July 31 skipping the official signing the three-month agreement proposal with the (BFF) citing family issue.
Saintfiet verbally engaged with BFF as national team head coach on July 12, ahead of the Bangladesh’s two Play-off-2 matches for the Asian Cup Qualifiers at home on September 6 and away on October 10 against Bhutan.
Saintfiet was scheduled to sign an agreement regarding his appointment on July 27 after a discussion with BFF president Kazi Salahuddin but skipped the signing citing his sickness. During his stay in Bangladesh Saintfiet worked with national side around for a week at Bangabandhu National Stadium and watched some matches of the ongoing JB Bangladesh Premier League.
However, after his return, Saintfiet will start the national booters training camp for Asian Cup Qualifiers on August 27.
