A mobile court of National Consumer Rights Protection Directorate (NCRPD) yesterday fined Bismillah Foods Products in city’s Sagorika area for producing adulterated foods by using burnt oil.
Assistant Director of NCRPD Chttagong Division Bikash Chandra Das led the mobile court in city’s Sagorika area under Pahartali thana and fined Bismillah foods Tk 60 thousand for producing adulterated food items, he said .
The NCRPD also fined TK 30 thousand to Dhaka Bakery & Biscuit Factory and fined TK 20 thousand to Dhaka Bakery in city’s Saraipara area for the same offence.
