FM to receive Abbas at HSIA

Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali will receive Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport early today as the president will make his first stopover on his way to three Asian countries.
Mahmoud Abbas along with a high-profile Palestinian delegation will reach at the airport at 12.30 am for an hour today when all the Arab Heads of Mission in Dhaka will also be present to greet the
President, a Palestinian embassy press release said here yesterday.
Later, the visiting delegation will have a meeting with the Bangladesh foreign minister at the airport when issues relating to the most recent development of Jerusalem in particular will be discussed alongside the ongoing Israeli aggressive policy which has been intensified since September last that result more than 170 lives of innocent Palestinian Women, Youth and Children.
Besides, other matters of mutual interest between the two nations of Palestine and Bangladesh will also be discussed in the meeting.
Based on the excellent relation between Bangladesh and Palestine, the government of Palestine is always keen to provide the latest updates regarding Palestine situation specially the condition of the Holy city of Jerusalem to Bangladesh government.
State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, Chief of Protocol Asad Alam Siam and other concerns of Bangladesh foreign ministry will be present at the airport.
The Palestinian delegation led by the President will also include Palestine Foreign Minister Dr. Riad al Malki, spokesperson of the President Nabil Abu Rodini, Special Advisor of Diplomatic Affair Dr. Majdi al Khalidi, special Economic Advisor Mustafa Abu al Rob and the Ambassador of the state of Palestine in Jordan, Attallah Khairi .
