Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali on Friday expressed deepest condolence at the sad demise of former Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud Al Faisal
“I express my deepest condolence at the sad demise of former Saudi Foreign Minister His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al Faisal. This is an irrecoverable loss for the Royal family, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as well as the Muslim Ummah,” he said in a message sent to Saudi Foreign Minister Adel A. Al-Jubeir.
The foreign minister remembered the valuable contribution of Prince Saud to the promotion of the cause of the Muslim Ummah for the last four decades.
“We recall, with deep sense of gratitude, the kindness and generosity His Royal Highness extended to Bangladesh,” he said, adding in his sad demise, Bangladesh has lost a great brother and well-wisher.
“May Allah grant him eternal peace and the highest place in paradise and grant the Royal family and the brotherly people of Saudi Arabia the courage and fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” Ali said.
