Five players shared lead in the points table with maximum 4 points after the 4th round games of the Prime Bank 17th International Rating Chess tournament now being held in Chess hall-room.
They are GM Enamul Hossain Razib and IM M Minhazuddin of Bangladesh Navy Chess team, FM Mehdi Hasan of Leonine Chess, Abdullah Al-Saif of Golden Sporting Club and FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman of Titas Club.
FM K Aminul Islam of Bangladesh Navy, Mohammed Enayet Hossain of Fire-Service & Civil Defense and Uten of Leonine are following the leaders closely with 3.5 points each.
In the 4th round games held on Saturday, GM Razib beat CM Sohel Chowdhury, Minhaz beat M Sharif Hossain, Parag beat WFM Sharmin Sultana Shirin, Amin drew with Enayet, Saif beat Hasan Nazir Uddin, Fahad beat Nayan Kumar Mohanto and Uten beat M Alamgir-2.
