Five noted directors’ pandemic-themed series streaming now

Binge, an online digital video streaming platform, launched a five-episode anthology series titled Bagh Bondi Singho Bondi from October 1, based on the diverse experiences that people have faced during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The series explores how people’s livelihood, social status, physical and mental health have been affected during this pandemic through five different stories. The 30-minute episodes have been written by country’s five noted directors: Amitabh Reza Chowdhury, Animesh Aich, Giasuddin Selim, Nurul Alam Atique and Abu Shahed Emon.
The first episode of the series titled Jatri was telecasted on Thursday. Produced by veteran director Giasuddin Selim, this episode is about a coronavirus infected patient being socially isolated by everyone except a benevolent stranger.
A 60-year old security guard named Moti is the most likable person you will ever meet; he does everything with a smile. But when he is infected with the coronavirus disease, everyone turns away from him.
Chanchal Chowdhury plays the lead role of security guard Moti. The cast also includes Shyamal Mawla, Ramisha Neela, Ahsanul Haque Minu and others.
Bagh Bondi Singho Bondi series will be available on android smartphones through mobile applications.
 Viewers can also watch it on smart TVs through the Play-Store app on the Binge platform.
The Android mobile application can be downloaded from the Google Play Store. At present, the special offer comprises a subscription package for smartphones at Tk 10 per day, Tk 40 per week and Tk 99 per month (excluding VAT, supplementary duty and surcharge).
