Five more final round matches of the Bashundhara Group Independence Cup Kabaddi competition were held on the second day (Saturday) at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium.
In the day’s first match, Bogra district beat Mymensingh district by 54-34 points with four ‘lona’, Kurigram district defeated Madaripur district by 54-46 points with four ‘lona’, Khulna district overpowered Sylhet district by 45-35 points with three ‘lona’, Barisal district outclassed Chittagong district by 47-27 points with four lona and Bogra district scrape past Sylhet district by 31-29 points with two ‘lona.
The final of the competition will be held today (Sunday)at the same venue at 4 pm.
State Minister for Youth and Sports Dr Biren Sikder MP is expected to present in the final as the chief guest and distribute the prizes among the winners.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation president and Inspector General of Police Dr M Javed Patwari will also present in the final.
