Five more killed in road crashes

At least five more persons were killed and several others seriously injured in separate road crashes across the country on Thursday.
In Mymensingh, at least two persons died and several others injured when a truck hit an auto-rickshaw at Shimultoli of the district on the Mymensingh- Kishoreganj Highway on Wednesday midnight.
One of the deceased was identified as Sirajul Islam (50), a rickshaw driver who breathed his last on the spot. The other’s identity couldn’t be known instantly.
In Joypurhat, a motorcylist named Hamidul Islam (50) was killed in a road accident when a battery operated auto-rickshaw rammed him at
Kamragram of the district on Thursday afternoon on the Joypurhat-Bogra regional road.
Joypurhat Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sirajul Islam confirmed the matter to media.
In Cumilla, One motorcycle rider named Rubel (30) was killed when a truck hit him on the Comilla-Sylhet Regional Highway on Thursday noon.
Jahirul Anwar, Officer-in-charge (OC) of Debidar Police Station said the news to media.
In Gopalganj, One Madrash student named Kamal Mia (50) was killed in a road accident when a local Nasiman hit him at Chapta area under Kashyani upazila of the district.
Kashiani Police Station Officer-in-charge (OC) Azizur Rahman confirmed the news media.
