A five-member of Bangladesh tennis team, led by Bangladesh Tennis Federation joint secretary Moinuddin Waliullah, left Dhaka for Bahrain on Friday to take part in the Davis Cup Asia/ Oceania Zone group-4 competition to be held from April 3-7.
Apart from hosts Bahrain, Bangladesh, Cambodia, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Myanmar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tajikistan and Yemen will take part in the five-day tournament. The captains meeting of the tournament will be held on Sunday (April 2).
The Bangladesh team is scheduled to return home on April 8.
The other four members of Bangladesh tennis team are Amol Roy, Mamun Bepari, Farque Hossain and Jewel Rana.
