The authority of Eden Mohila College handed over five of their students to police for their suspected involvement with militant.
Principal of Eden Mohila College Professor Gayatri Chatterjee said, the authority at first detained two with some Jihadi books during a drive at Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall early Sunday.
Later, they detained another three on Sunday afternoon during drive and seized some Jihadi books from their possessions.
Assistant Commissioner (Lalbagh Division) Salah Uddin said, “The detained students are interrogating at the detective Branch Office in the city”.
The names at the students would be published after they are shown arrest if they found link with the militancy, the AC said.
