Police recovered the bodies of five people, including three women, from different parts of Savar on Tuesday.
Four of the victims were identified as Beauty Akter (30), Zakia Akter Sokhi (25), Ibrahim Hossain Roki (25) and Salman Fakir (24) while identity of the aother woman deceased could not be known yet, said Mominul Islam, Inspector (investigation) of Savar Model Police Station.
Police said, they being informed by locals, recovered the bodies of four persons from various parts of Savar on Tuesday morning.
According to local people, the bodies were found hanging from the ceiling in their respective homes. “We suspect that four people, including two women, might have died by suicide over family dispute, while Beauty was murdered,” said Inspector Mominul.
All five bodies were sent to Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsies. No case was filed regarding the incidents yet, the inspector added.
