People from all works of life are visiting the five-day fish fair, which began in city’s Krishibid Institute Bangladesh (KIB) on Friday.
During a visit to the fair on Sunday, this correspondent found that many people are visiting the fair to see various fish species and many are buying fishes displayed at different stalls of the fair.
The Department of Fisheries (DoF) under the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock organised the ‘Fish Fair’, marking the National Fisheries Week.
A total of 24 stalls of government, non-government and online fish marketing institutions are participating in the fair with various fish projects.
Fresh and live fishes are being displayed at the fair.
