First ever Sea Aquarium in Cox’s Bazar in the offing

 With a view to attract more tourists from home and abroad, a first ever sea Aquarium is expected to be established at Unani Beach in Co’xs Bazar tourist hub very shortly.
A Chinese construction firm expressed interest to build the first ever country’s sea aquarium over 42 acres of land on bank of Rezu Khal beside the Coxsbazar marine drive road.
In this connection, CoxsBazar Development Authority undergoing discussions with the Chinese firm after having consent of the govt , a reliable sources sa id. Chairman of Cox’s Bazar Development Authority Lt Col. Forkan Ahmed told that after green signal from higher authority of the govt, discussions are going for the said proposed project with the Chinese firm. CBDA will provide all logistic support to the constructing firm including acquisition of land and security measures. Managing Director of Best Western Hotel chain authority Capt. Mujibur Rahman told that in the developing or developed countries , there are arrangements for sea Aquarium, cable car or other amusement facilities but Cox’s Bazar is deprived of these facilities as yet. Hefurther said till these facilities are ful filled in the coxsbazar beach city , the tourist flow will not increase . A sources of Cox’s Bazar quoting the reference of chief planner of Cox’s Bazar Dev authority said the sea Aquariums of Longkari , Malaysia and Singapore World Santos are most attractive tourist spot where a tourist can pass whole day to witness the marine , aquamarine lives .
He hoped such type of Aquarium will be build in the beach town of Cox’s Bazar very shortly.
