The Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League begins on January 20 at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium.
Secretary of Ministry of Youth and Sports Mohammad Abdullah will inaugurate the meet as the chief guest, while Adviser to Green Delta Insurance Company Limited Nasir Uddin Ahmed Chowdhury will be with him as the special guest.
PWD SC will meet Shantinagar SC in the day’s first match at 1.30 pm, while Dhaka Railway SC will take on Dilkusha SC in the day’s second match at 3.30 pm.
A total of 11 teams will take part in the hockey meet. They are: Dhaka Railway SC, PWD SC, Farashganj SC, Mukto Bihanga Tarun Sangha, Dhaka United Club, Bachelors SC, Combined SC, Shishu Kishore Sangha, Barnak Samaj, Shantinagar SC and Dilkusha SC.
