Under the joint auspices of Intellectual Welfare Parishad and Swadhin Sangbadpatra Patak Samity , the first death anniversary of the former President of National Press Club and BFUJ and a noted journalist of the country Gias Kamal Chowdhury was held in Chittagong Saturday .
Journalist and president of Intellectual Welfare Parishad SM Jamaluddin presided the anniversary function. Noted tax lawyer Md. Amir HOssain was the main discussant in it. Among others vice president of the parishad Prof. Humayun Kabir, Alhaj SM Jahirul hoque, general secretary Md. Nazimuddin, MK Momin, FF Shah Nurul Alam, APP Advocate Ehsanul Hoque, journo Milan Barua, journo Shamal Nath, were present in it as discussants.
After end of the discussions on patriotic journalists and noted intellectual late Gias Kamal chowdhury a Doa Mahfil was also held at the same venue.
