Comilla Victorians take on Rangpur Riders in the first qualifiers round match of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) schedule to be held today (Saturday) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.
The match kicks off at 2 pm.
Between the two teams, who will able to win the Saturday’s match, will play final of the third edition of BPL.
Talking to the reporters, Rangpur Riders allrounder Darren Sammy said they started the tournament brilliantly and they have good chance to reach final of the tournament.
He said his side yet to play their best cricket which they want to play Saturday against Comilla Victorians.
Sammy said they are not thinking about the weak points of their opponents rather they are more concentrating on their game to secure the final place of the tournament.
Replying to a question, he said toss is impotent in the match though nobody has control over the toss, but they would try to play their best game whatever they would bat or field first.
The Caribbean allrounder, who found a bit worried with their opening pair, said they have to improve more in this place.
The good thing is that team has been consistently performing well and they have to carry out their performance against Comilla Victorians on the Saturday’s match, Sammy added.
