The Hotel Oscar Echo First Beach Rugby Competition starts today (Friday) at the Urmi Point of the Cox’s Bazar Sea Beach.
Bangladesh Rugby Federation has arranged the rugby tournament with the assistance of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association. Hotel Oscar Echo is the sponsor of the meet.
A total of five teams are taking part in the two-day long rugby competition. They are: Chittagong District Sports Association (Red), Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club, Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association, Chittagong District Sports Association (Green) and Cox’s Bazar District team.
DC of Cox’s Bazar Md Ali Hossain will inaugurate the rugby competition as the chief guest while General Secretary of Cox’s Bazar District Sports Association Anup Barua Apu will be present with him as the special guest.
