At least two shops were gutted in a fire at south Kattoli area under Pahartali thana in the city at 1.45 am on Monday night.
Fire service sources said the fire originated from cooking oven from one of the shop at south Kattoli area under Pahartali thana 1.45 am and it quickly engulfed the surrounding shops.On information, two units of fire fighters from Agrabad Fire Stationrushed to the spot and brought the flame under control around 2.30 am. Valuables worth about Tk one lakh were gutted in the fire service sources said adding that none was, however, injured in the fire.
