A devastating fire broke out at a cotton godown at Sad Musa Industrial park of Anwara upazila here on Friday morning.
The fire originated from electric short circuit at the godown, fire service sources said.
The fire broke out at the godown around 6.20 am and soon spread around, the sources added.
On information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the flame under control at 11 am.
