A fire broke out in a slum at Kalyanpur of the capital on Sunday night.
Being informed, about 14 units of Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the blaze.
Md Rafi Al Farooq, Duty Officer of Fire Service Headquarters, confirmed the matter to the media.
He said, “A fire originated at slum No. 9 in Kalyanpur Natun Bazar around 8:50 pm on Sunday night. Fire Fighters tried to douse the inferno.
