A fire broke out at the BBC Media Action office at Gulshan 2 in the city around 8:40am on Sunday.
Baridhara Fire Service Warehouse Inspector Milon Mia said the fire is suspected to be originated from an electric short-circuit. The office is located in the top floor of the eight-storey Concord IK Tower.
Later, five units of the fire service went to the spot and doused the blaze around 9:10 am.
“No one was injured in the fire. However, the furniture and electronics of a room of the office were gutted,” said the Fire Service control room duty officer.
