A fire broke out at Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) building in the city’s Karwan Bazar area on Tuesday afternoon.
However, no casualty was reported in the fire incident, Fire Service official said.
On information, three firefighting units rushed to
the TCB Bhaban around 2:00 pm, said Atiqur Rahman, Duty Officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) Headquarters.
The flames were extinguished within 15 minutes, the FSCD official said.
The fire might have originated from an electric malfunction, he said.
