A fire broke out at a tannery plant on the Tannery Crossing of Hazaribagh near Zigatola in the city on Friday.
Fire Service sources said that the fire originated from the first floor of ‘Bhulua Tannery’ in the morning.
On information, four engines of Fire Service rushed to the spot and doused the flame of fire within short time. Fire Service official Shahjadi Sultana said that they extinguished the flame in 30 minutes only.
The losses caused by the blaze could not be estimated immediately.
