Fire broke out at a ready-made garment factory in Ashulia on the outskirts of the capital Dhaka on Friday.
No one was injured in this connection and the reason behind the fire could not be known yet.
The blaze originated in the ground floor of the factory of Meddler Apparels in East Narsinghapur area at about 2:30am and soon engulfed.
Eight fire fighting units from Dhamrai, Tongi, Savar and Mirpur rushed to the scene and doused the flame at 7am.
Later, fire fighters put out the flame after four hours of frantic efforts, said DEPZ Fire Service’s Senior Station Officer Abdul Hamid Mia.
