Sakibur Rahman Sharif Konak, a member of the sub-committee on information and research of the Bangladesh Awami League, son of former land minister late Shamsur Rahman Sharif MP, donated money for orphans at Jamia Siddiquia Ambagan Madrasa in Ishwardi. On Saturday morning, he personally handed over one lakh taka in cash to the orphans.
“Like his late father, he will continue to work for the people,” said Kanak Sharif. He prayed for everyone, including his late father, public leader Sheikh Hasina and the people of the country.
Tariqul Islam Bipul, general secretary of the madrasa and mosque committee, and Asaduzzaman, principal of the madrasa, were present.
