The final round of wrestling players’ training programme will begin today (Thursday) at the Handball Stadium in the city.
National Sports Council (NSC) Secretary Ashok Kumar Biswas is expected to inaugurate the 30-day training programme as the chief guest at 3 pm. NSC Director (sports) Dil Mohammad and sports organiser Badal Roy will be present as special guests.
A total of 40 participants– 20 boys and 20 girls– who have been finally selected through primary selection and training from grassroots level of 20 districts across the country.
