Final round of BFF National School Football begins Tuesday

The final round of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) National Scholl Football Championship begins Tuesday (March 17) at the Outer Stadium adjoining the Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city.
Chagolnaiya Pilot High School of Feni will take on Suti VM Pilot Government
High School of Tangail in the lone opening encounter that kicks off at 3 pm.
BFF president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin is expected to inaugurate the final round as the chief guest while BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy will be also present in the opening ceremony.
Champions of eight district teams from eight venues, split into two groups will take part in the final round.
The top two teams from each group will play the cross semifinals later stage.
The champions team will receive Taka 1,000,00.00 (Taka one lakh) while the runners-up team will get Taka 50,000.00 (Taka fifty thousand) as the prize money.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Sunday at conference room of BFF Bhaban to provide all the details of the meet.
National school football committee’s chairman Bijon Barua said they have a plan to groom fifty to sixty talented players who will come out successfully from the final round by adding that the selected players would be handed over to BFF academy for training.
Participating teams:
Group A – Chagolnaiya Pilot High School, Feni, Daudpur Bohumukhi High School, Dinajpur, Bohumukhi Collegiate School, Bagerhat and Suti VM Pilot Govt. High School, Tangail.
Group B- Alhaj Johirun Noor High School , Sunamganj, Nouhata Govt. High School, Rajshahi, Horidaspur Royel Technical School and College , Gopalganj and Moulana Bad High School, Jhenaidah.
