National Film Award-winning director Kazi Hayat is currently under treatment at a private hospital in the capital.
Kazi Hayat’s son, film actor Kazi Maruf, confirmed the news. He said, “I would like to ask for everyone’s support and prayers, as my father has been hospitalised. Doctors are suspecting a heart blockage. If that is the case, a ring will be placed around a valve of his heart.” Kazi Hayat is not only film director but also a noted writer, producer and actor. In March this year, he was hospitalised after testing positive for Covid-19.
