GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Consumer Healthcare has announced the appointment of Filippo Lanzi as its regional head of the Asia Pacific, encompassing 23 territories. Lanzi is also the newest member of the Consumer Healthcare Strategic Leadership Team and the GSK Singapore Country Board.
Lanzi joined GSK as part of a joint venture between GSK and Novartis OTC, bringing 20 years of healthcare industry experience. Prior to Novartis, Filippo spent five years at Johnson & Johnson managing the Diabetes Division in Italy, where he received a degree in economics at Pisa University and masters in marketing at Publitalia in 1980.

Lanzi said: “I’m thrilled to be here in the Asia Pacific. The region is sitting on a demographic sweet spot with a growing population that desire quality healthcare products.”
