Sabbir Hossain :After earning a thumping seven-wicket victory over South Africa in the second ODI at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur on July 12, Bangladesh will take on the visiting South Africa in the third and final ODI at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong today (Wednesday). G TV will telecast the match live which starts from 3.00 pm.Earlier, South Africa recorded an eight-wicket victory over Bangladesh in the first ODI at the SBNCS on July 10.Thus Bangladesh have to win the third ODI if they want to win the ODI series against the touring South Africa.Bangladesh Cricket team and South Africa Cricket team took part in their respective practice sessions at the arena of Chittagong on Tuesday.Best all-rounder of the world Shakib Al Hasan said, “After the World Cup, we won all the home series. So, we want to utilize the opportunity.”Shakib said, “Every match is important for us. As we have levelled the series 1-1, the third ODI is very vital for us. We couldn’t beat South Africa in an ODI series till date.” Hasan said, “We don’t feel any pressure. We shall try to perform well using our total teamwork. The win depends on the total performance of the team.”He said, “We have to do well in all the three departments of the game (batting, bowling and fielding) if we want to win the series.”Spinner of South Africa Imran Tahir said, “Bangladesh played extra-ordinarily in the second ODI. The last match will be challenging for us.”Imran said, “We have no second option than performing well in the third ODI to win the series-deciding match.”Tahir said, “Both teams will try to win the match. Especially, Bangladesh play well on their home ground. But we shall try our best. We have the ability to face the challenge.”He said, “We don’t think about the second ODI.
