Festival allowance and salary of labourers working in readymade garments and other industries have to be paid on September 5 and within September 10.
The decision was taken today at the 32nd meeting of Crisis Management Core Committee (CMCC) held at Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishments (DIFE) in the city with State Minister for Labour and Employment Md. Mujibul Haque in the chair.
Mujibul Haque said BGMEA, BKMEA, BTMEA and leaders of different trade unions have agreed with the decision to pay the Eid bonus before five days ago of the Eid-ul-Azha and salay of August month within September 10.
