Ferry services on Paturia-Daulatdia route resumed after 10 hours as the weather situation improved.
“Due to inclement weather and strong current in the Padma river, the ferry services were remained suspended from 2 last night the services resumed after 12noon as weather situation improved,” Mohiuddin Russell, manager of Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Corporation (BIWTC) at Paturia told BSS.
But, he said, launch and engine-run boat services still remain suspended due to bad weather. He said now 10 ferries out of 16 are operating now.
