Ferdous Wahid tests positive for Coronavirus

Popular pop singer Ferdous Wahid has tested positive for coronavirus after a second test. The legendary singer is currently undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday evening with a fever.
Last week, Ferdous Wahid tested negative for Covid-19 upon testing at the city’s Anwar Khan Modern Hospital. After he was admitted to CMH, his swab samples were collected on Friday morning for a second test.
The 67-year-old singer has been suffering from heart disease, high blood pressure and diabetes for a long time.
Ferdous Wahid’s singing career goes as far back as 50 years. He gained massive popularity by singing pop songs. Some of his most well-known songs are: Ami Ek Paharadar, Mamunia, Agey Jodi Jantam, Shon Ore Chhotto Khoka and Ami Ghor Bandhilam.
